Rust always gives beautful natural patterns. I used pieces of pipe, keys, locks and hinges to make some very pleasing marks.

I persevered and coloured the fabric with Brusho inks and there was more 'resist' than I was expecting.

Permanganate Shibori style - didn't work, I should have made a paste. I was uncomfortable working with this chemical. There were too many hazard warnings on the bottle!

I thought the egg tempura was wonderful. I loved the transparency of it, I think the effect is amazing.
